Yoga is a gentle form of exercise, with a mixture of postures (which aims to stretch and strengthen muscles, and improve internal bodily functions). As well as breathing techniques, meditation and relaxation.
Yoga will increase our awareness on all levels. It helps us see that we can make better choices and a big difference in how we choose to live our lives. Yoga helps us realise how important it is to be happy and healthy in our Mind, Body and Spirit.
Vanessa Costa is a qualified classical yoga teacher trained at the Australian College of Classical Yoga. She has spent the past ten years training "Hatha" style yoga with her mentor Barbara Knowles. Other experiences also include yoga through pregnancy and yoga with children. Vanessa's passion is dance. Dancing since she was 9 years old her experience includes a variety of styles and adventures, which will sometimes be portrayed in her Yoga classes. Vanessa is also a current member of the Yoga Teachers Association Inc.
